Meet Dr. Lisa
I am running for Murrieta City Council, District 3, because I am passionate about Murrieta and I want to see our city thrive.
I am an experienced leader and have served the community in countless ways. I was elected to serve two terms as a School Board Trustee and there, I was tasked to oversee an annual budget of over $200 million.
I have had the honor of being president of the Western Science Center, United Way Women’s Council, and Murrieta Valley High School Lacrosse Booster, just to name a few. I believe that passionate leadership is critical to the success of a productive community. As a wife, mother of two boys, and local business owner, I will strive for a vibrant attractive community that embraces everyone.
I have always used a common sense approach to tackle issues head on, ask insightful questions, renegotiate bad contracts, and will hold our city accountable to all residents and businesses.
I am known for doing my homework, listening to people and addressing their concerns, researching the issues, and getting pragmatic results.
It takes experience, energy, and dedication to serve the constituents of District 3. I have maintained two successful practices for many years and have won several awards for my professionalism and customer service. My practice has been named number one in the Inland Empire by The Press Enterprise and I was named Businesswomen of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce. I believe a city should provide the same value of service I provide to my patients.
Education and good paying jobs are a vital part of a thriving community. As an Associate Professor at MSJC, I taught Anatomy and Physiology with the belief that education stimulates good jobs and supports small businesses.
I am also uniquely qualified in that I have both my home and business in District 3.
My Priorities Include:
- Advocate for Financial Accountability, Budget Management
- Ensure a Safe Community
- Mitigate Traffic and Congestion
- Support the Growth and Development of Old Town Murrieta
- Advocate for Small Businesses
- Improve the ability to attract new businesses and jobs
- Enhance Economic Development
- Transparent/Accessible Leadership
Thank you for your time and attention. I am dedicated and committed to the City of Murrieta for the right reasons, and in order to accomplish these goals, I kindly ask for your vote on November 3rd.
